Aloo Kofta Recipe

Ingredients:
- 5 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- Combine the mashed potatoes, onions, tomatoes, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt in a large bowl. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into small balls.
- Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the koftas until golden brown on all sides.
- Remove the koftas from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a little more oil. Add the onions and cook until softened.
- Add the tomatoes and cook until softened and mushy.
- Add the spices and cook for a minute or two.
- Add Koftas to fry for some time. Now add some water to make curry.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
